"Today's jobs report represents another tremendous step towards a healthy American economy that works for the American people, giving them more money in their pockets, more freedom and more time. Wages are up, unemployment remains near historic lows and over 13 million jobs have been created during President Biden's first term. Under the leadership of the Biden-Harris administration, Democrats are growing the middle class and lowering costs for everyday Americans.

While House Democrats are working to build on this historic progress, extreme MAGA Republicans are marching towards a government shutdown in order to jam their right-wing ideology down the throats of the American people. House Democrats are going to continue to stand up for everyday Americans against this reckless extremism and we will continue growing the economy from the middle out and the bottom up."
